100% Fibershed Certified https://fibershed.org/about/ Climate Beneficial™ wool, locally + ethically wild-harvested leaves, sticks, string, water, fire, time, and intention.

L: 38” (shoulder to hem)  W: 44”

This vibrant living textile is made in collaboration with the land, sheep, plants, and people of California.

I design, cut, fringe, and dye each piece with plants and minerals in Northern California (currently Quincy, Mountain Maidu land). The fabric is woven at Huston Textile in Rancho Cordova CA (Nisenan land). The sheep are raised with care and Climate Beneficial™ land management practices in North Eastern California on Bare Ranch (Northern Paiute land). These interconnections are inspired, encouraged, and nurtured by Fibershed, a project which develops regional and regenerative fiber systems, from soil to soil.
